AGPOM's property insurance program is specifically designed to address member's exposures while supporting their drive to go Green. We are supported by "A" rated insurance carriers with superior claims-handling services and loss control expertise.

Our coverage plan begins with an enhanced all-risk policy and offers a variety of optional coverage extensions including:

  • Valuable Papers and Records
  • Personal Effects of Employees

Green Replacement / Upgrade

This coverage is built into the basic coverage offering. It includes the following enhancements:

  1. Green Certified Coverage - In the even of loss to a Green certified building, coverage available from AGPOM will apply not only to rebuilding, but to additional expenses driven by regaining Green certification.

  2. Green Upgrade Coverage - This coverage will pay the extra expense when a non-certified building opts to go Green after a loss. This added cost might be driven by use of Energy Star rated equipment, eco-friendly lighting, paint and carpet, or water-efficient plumbing fixtures.

  3. Green Commissioning Expense - This coverage provides for a commissioning engineer to inspect a newly built or repaired system after a covered loss to confirm operation at peak performance and expected efficiency.
